- When is the best time to book a Sacramento newborn session?
- Sessions are best within the first 5–14 days of birth — babies are sleepier and more curled up. I recommend booking during your second trimester so we can hold a spot around your due date and adjust once baby arrives.
- Do you travel to Elk Grove and Roseville for newborn sessions?
- Yes — I photograph in-home newborn sessions throughout the Sacramento area, including Elk Grove, Roseville, Folsom, Davis, and Rocklin. No travel fee within 30 miles of Sacramento.
- What is a lifestyle newborn session?
- A lifestyle newborn session happens in your home using the light from your windows. There are no props, posing benches, or studio setups — just real, documentary moments of your baby, your family, and your home as it actually looks.
- How do we prepare our home for a newborn session?
- Very little prep is needed. I look for rooms with the most natural light — usually a master bedroom or living room with large windows. I'll send a full preparation guide before the session covering lighting, timing, and how to keep baby happy throughout.
